To support our downtown restaurants and provide attendees with a diverse selection of food options, the Cruise Night on Main Street Committee limits the number of food vendors permitted at the event.

All food vendors must submit a request form for committee review and approval. Space is limited, and approval is based on vendor variety, event needs, and available space.

To ensure a wide range of offerings, the number of vendors selling similar items (such as hamburgers, hot dogs, fried dough, lemonade, etc.) will be limited.

For those of you on cruise control and are used to the annual Car Show being held on the second Wednesday in June…

The 29th Annual Cruise Night on Main Street presented by NAPA AUTO PARTS returns to downtown Middletown on Wednesday, September 2, 2026 from 4:30–8:00 PM!

In collaboration with the City of Middletown, Connecticut Government, we’ve moved the event to early September to better support our downtown businesses during a summer with frequent Main Street closures, give the classic cars a cooler night to cruise (no overheating!), and complement the many America 250 events happening in Middletown (and our region) this summer.

It’s also the perfect way to celebrate Labor Day weekend and close out the summer together!

Join us for classic cars, music, great food, and thousands of spectators lining Main Street for one of Middletown’s favorite traditions.
