Earlier on the Bypass a Van was struck by a 6 foot section of ducting that blew off of a truck/trailer. This is why load securement needs to be taken very seriously. Luckily the driver is okay but this could have been much worse had it impacted at a more destructive angle, or worse hit a motorcyclist which are still plentiful this time of year on the roadways. Check your loads drivers. And if you’re not sure, check it again. There is no excuse.
