Working on the tail end of the Mustang project this week. Modifying the lower deck lid edge to flow better with the tail pan and take the dip out of it. Started off with the inner structure. Bent up a new lower edge, added some dimple holes, cut out the old, welded in new section and dressed out in 80 grit. Outer skin is up next

Working hard on getting everything put together for our Intro to Metal Shaping online course that will drop January 1. I am building a detailed course programs that will go from learning and understanding the basics all the way up through more advance techniques and projects.

Teaching Metal Shaping classes over the last 15 years has given me great insight into the best ways to convey information in a way that makes sense, is easy to digest and gives you the skills to get repeatable results. It is set up as a self paced program split into small manageable and easy to understand lessons, whether you can spend 20 mins a day or hours.

I think will be a great resource for people who are wanting to grow their skills who are not able to attend an in person class or want a resource they can go back and reference as need be. I also think this course program will help fill a void in the metal shaping industry as there are not a lot of modern resource’s to get good valuable information that will help you grow into a craftsman and be able to make a career out of the craft if thats your desire.

The community page is up and running and I am working daily to get courses filmed and edited. I will also be having guest instructors, monthly webinars, and private one on one video instructional meetings.

So keep an eye out as we get things rolling in this big adventure of online training.

More progress on the Dodge Airflow project. PS door is getting close basically just need to put the door top cladding on the wood frame, turn all the hem edges, weld the top and bottom halves and spot welds in window opening , epoxy prime the inside and its ready to go on for the final time and be hemmed on. So much work has gone into this one door so far. Hoping the DS goes much faster as we made parts for both doors at the same time and learned a lot on this door.
