Ford throwing a speed-sensor code? It may be the lead frame.

The speed sensors are built into this molded lead frame inside the transmission. When it fails, it can cause warning lights, erratic shifting, loss of speed-sensor readings and even unexpected downshifts.

A code tells us where to start—not which part to blindly replace. Proper diagnostics matter. 🔧

Came in today for us to check the transmission… and during our inspection, we found the axle completely unattached. 😧

That doesn’t necessarily rule out a transmission problem, but this issue must be repaired before the transmission can be properly tested and diagnosed.

This is exactly why a thorough inspection should always come first.
