🇺🇸 Happy Independence Day from the Towing & Recovery Professionals of Connecticut! 🇺🇸

On July 4, 1776, the Continental Congress adopted the Declaration of Independence, announcing that the 13 American colonies would no longer be governed by Great Britain. It marked the birth of a nation founded on the ideals of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

Today, we celebrate not only with fireworks and family, but also by remembering the courage, sacrifice, and determination of those who fought for our freedom and all those who continue to protect it.

From all of us at the Towing & Recovery Professionals of Connecticut, we wish you a safe, meaningful, and happy Fourth of July.

Due to strong interest and anticipated demand, TRPC has added a second Traffic Incident Management System (TIMS) Training date!

⏰ 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM

Under Connecticut's new towing legislation, TIMS training will be required for owners and employees participating in State Police and Municipal rotational towing systems.

Don't wait until the deadline, secure your seat now and get ahead of the new requirements while gaining valuable training that helps improve responder safety, reduce secondary crashes, and enhance incident scene coordination.

Attention Connecticut towing professionals — new state legislation now requires completion of Traffic Incident Management System (TIMS) Training for operators participating in:

✔️ State Police Rotational Systems
✔️ Municipal Rotational Systems

📅 Training Date: October 10, 2026
🕣 Time: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM
📍 Eastern CT Fire School – Willimantic, CT

Who must complete training?
🔹 Wrecker Service Owners
🔹 Tow Truck Operators & Employees

⚠️ Deadline Requirements:
• Owners: By July 1, 2027 or prior to joining a rotation
• Operators/Employees: By July 1, 2027 or within one year of hire
