After racing all night and only getting to the semis in most classes, the race was called about an hour ago. We didn’t get to run our final against McCoy and agreed on a split with the promise to meet in the finals again at War at 304 next month!

When a legendary car comes to a legendary track you need to check it out. This street raced thoroughbred famous for big wheelies on the streets of Compton and across the west coast made the journey across the US to Indiana. Tony Politano and miss_midnight_maverick decided to bring the famed Foxbody to race in the stickshift class at Brown County Dragway. The car is currently equipped with the fastest stock shortblock in the world, a ProCharger Superchargers P1X and Nitrous Express gas is on tap. A Gforce G101 transmission sends the power to a 8.8 rearend equipped with all the Strange goodies. A set of custom 35 spline Ultralige 4 lug axles, spool, and c-clip eliminators are nicely finished off with a new Strange 8.8 girdle cover. For stopping power the Mare uses a set of Strange Evolution 2 ceramic ball bearing brakes up front and a set of Evolution 4 brakes out back. On the suspension side, a set of Strange long travel front struts and rear shocks compliment a slew of Team Z Motorsports control arms. Thank you Tess and Tony for choosing to .

This is one machine you cant miss! Devin Grace from Friendsville, TN is racing his wicked 36 Ford 5 window coupe at War in the Woods. Devin has been running the car in its current form for the past 1.5 years in various no prep events. The “Witch Doctor” is powered by a 540 big block Chevy with a 14-71 blower on top. The car is equipped with Strange Pro series brakes front and rear along with a Strange floater kit. Logan Graves from Pine Bluff, AR gave this clean foxbody the weekend off from streetracing and instead entered it into the True Street class at War in the Woods. This sweet 87 Mustang named “Headache” is a real head turner. The car is powered by a Gen 2 Coyote with a 88mm turbocharger. Logan has equipped the car with Strange pro series front brakes and plans to upgrade the rears to match. Out back the 8.8 rearend is setup with Strange 35 spline axles, spool and C-clip eliminators. Eric Trigalet made the trip from Danville,IL to Brown County Dragway to race at War in the Woods. Eric is racing this beautiful 69 Camaro named “OJ” in the small tire class and enjoys heads up no-prep racing. The car is powered by a 427 SBC and a monster Precision Turbo & Engine provides the boost. Eric recently upgraded to Strange Evolution 4 front brakes and is a running a dual caliper setup in the rear.
