Made the trip down to Capital City Speedway for the VDKA series race. Team showed a ton of speed all day. Ended up with 8 top 3’s and 2 wins. Rain messed up the second half of the day but we did what we needed to do to have a strong showing. Congrats to Joey Williams Racing and Van Iderstine Racing on the wins. Crazy day at capital city VA for the vdka series race. The word of the day was draft. Drafting is an element that we don’t deal with much in the north so it’s something we continue to work on. Ended up leaving with a pair of wins. Can’t thank everyone enough that helps make this happen. Really leaned on Uncle Darin this weekend so we could work on racing technique and strategies. Our Hermie Sadler Karting V3’s were strong as ever.

Finally getting my mind straight after a blur of a week. We made it to Seven stars for the Wka series race. The team had speed right out of the box putting most of our karts in the top 5 in time trials. Ended up the day with 4 wins, and a bunch of top 3’s.

Congrats to Joey Williams Racing , Cole Pike Racing #5 and Nutting Racing for their wins. Also John Diotte had a strong run in 375 pro just coming up short in second. Also Stratton Racing on their top 3 finish.

I’m beyond proud of what we are doing here. Between building and unloading a brand new buggy and getting a new customer roller in 360 and getting all of our local stuff figured out it was a hell of a week.

The team made the trip to Hunterstown for the WKA Dirt Series Commonwealth series yesterday. Blessed to be spending this Easter weekend with our families and friends doing something we love. We had karts in 10 classes. We ended up with 6 wins on the day. This was a total team effort. From rebuilding Joeys buggy after a jingle while leading the first buggy main to just making sure karts have tires and everything stays organized. Our Hermie Sadler Karting karts were great all day, consistent and full of speed. This picture means a lot to me. This is something Darin Mellott and I have been working so hard on. From chatting on the phone on the way home debriefing about the races that day to just tossing out ideas we’ve work so hard to get to this point. This is what hard work looks like. This is what a bunch of racing families having faith in us looks like. This is what boys turning into real racers looks like. This is what blessed looks like. Cole Pike Racing #5 , Stratton Racing ,Nutting Racing Thank you for believing in us and trusting us to put your kids up front.

Darin, if you got this far, thanks for joining me in this wild journey. Just two kids still trying to make their Dads proud.
