We’ve been fairly busy in the shop doing regular body restorations; but that doesn’t mean we don’t have cool projects as well!

This was a repaint, touch up restoration project on a 1978 Ford Bronco that was done in this cold weather to get it ready for warmer weather!

Does anyone have a “warmer weather” car they like to drive? Drop it down in the comments!

Do you REALLY own an Autobody/Restoration shop if you don’t have projects of your own?

Randy found this gem all the way in Pennsylvania. But, back in its glory days, it was actually local to Ferrisburgh. Charlie Rossier’s “Track Boss” to be exact.

With only a few minor touches left it will be down the track once again!

We never really mention it on here but for those of you that don’t know, Hilltop Welding and Fabrication shares buildings with Vermont Welding Supply which Randy and Marie have owned for 8 years.

Since Hilltop Welding and Fabrication has become busier we have decided to sell the supply van and operate out of the office location! If anyone is interested in a supply van, here is the information:

2006 Ford Cube van, diesel, high mileage, walk in side door, slide rear door, 16’ cargo. Sliding door between cargo and cab. $3500 OBO.

Vermont Welding Supply still travels locally but also can help with your welding supply needs in the office, so stop in an also checkout what is happening in the shop for Hilltop Welding!

A little back story on this piece: our very own owner of Hilltop Welding and Fabrication and his daughter got this 1971 Nova 11 years ago. The intent was to redo it before she graduated high school.

She graduated high school 6 years ago.

So there is no timeline for this project, but we also thought we’d share the progress of this one as well! For the last 11 years it was sitting in a family farm, moved to a garage but is now back out and cleaned up to begin!

Holy cow has it been awhile since we have posted anything. Not for the lack of not having projects! We have been super busy.

That being said we hope everyone had a great New Year and 2021 is treating you well!

Here’s a recent project completion. It is an Airport model SnapOn toolbox that is no longer made. It took some love and care to complete, but we disassembled, sanded and painted everything. Good as new!

We have hit our slow time of the year, but does that mean we don’t want more projects? Absolutely not! If you have an projects give us a call at 802-453-7345!
