🚲 A Friendly State Series Reminder 🚲
Minnesota BMX is pretty awesome.
We have amazing riders, dedicated volunteers, supportive families, and some of the best tracks in the country. The State Series is a chance for all of us to come together, compete, make memories, and have a whole lot of fun.
With that said, we’ve seen a few situations at State Qualifier races this season that don’t reflect the values of our BMX community.
So here’s your gentle reminder:
✔️ Cheer loudly.
✔️ Race hard.
✔️ Celebrate the wins.
✔️ Learn from the losses.
✔️ Treat fellow riders, parents, volunteers, officials, and track operators with respect.
❌ Yelling at volunteers.
❌ Unsportsmanlike behavior.
❌ Skirting the rules.
❌ Harassing riders, parents, or officials.
None of those things belong at a BMX race.
At the end of the day, we’re talking about a sport built by volunteers who give countless hours so our riders have a place to race. Everyone deserves to be treated with respect, whether they’re racing for a State Plate or working registration.
Let’s keep Minnesota BMX what it’s always been—a fun, competitive, family-friendly environment where good sportsmanship matters just as much as crossing the finish line.
Race fast. Be kind. Have fun. We’ll see you at the next qualifier! 🤘
