Posting an update. Some answers to common questions here at the counter.
1) Closing date; October 28th, 2026
2) Is anyone taking over the repair shop. The answer is nothing definite has been planned, so no, not right now. That may change in the future, and I'll let you know.
3) Can we recommend someone to take our vehicles we can trust.

The time has come...

To our valued customers.

With heavy hearts, it has come time to inform you that we will soon be permanently closing Newfane Auto Repair. We have not set a date in stone for this to happen but but it will definitely be taking place in the next few months, on or before November 1st. I'll be turning 70 soon. With Mike and I both needing to spend more time handling personal matters, and my body telling me its time to step back from the daily grind of managing and working in the automotive repair business, it's time to close this chapter of our lives.

Mike and I want to thank you for your business. We both greatly appreciate the faith and trust you have put in us since we opened in 2015. I would also like to thank all of my long term customers from Steins Garage, many of you who have been with me for close to forty years.

We understand the trepidation involved in locating a new Mechanic who you can trust with your car. We'll do our best to provide you with suggestions of who is nearby and who we believe will both, do a good job servicing your car, and be honest with you.

As we look forward to moving into the next chapter of our lives, we sincerely want to wish you the best, and again, thank you so very much. God bless!
