General Maintenance, for a diesel its top priority Maintenance, when was the last time you replaced your CCV Filter??
Our client is ontop of his maintenance we Replaced the CCV Filter.
Replacing the CCV (Crankcase Ventilation) filter is vital to prevent severe internal engine pressure, which can blow critical oil seals, and to protect your turbocharger from oily sludge buildup.
A clogged CCV filter is like a blocked airway for your engine, leading to a cascade of expensive problems.
Why the CCV Filter Matters
Regulates Crankcase Pressure: As your engine runs, high-pressure gases (blow-by) escape into the crankcase. The CCV filter separates the oil mist from these gases so clean air can be safely routed back into the turbocharger intake.
Prevents Oil Leaks: If the filter becomes clogged, crankcase pressure builds up and forces engine oil out through the weakest points—typically your front and rear main seals, oil pan gasket, and valve cover gaskets.
Protects Turbochargers & Intercoolers: Neglecting the filter allows oily v***r and soot to coat your turbo fins and intercooler. Over time, this leads to sticky residue, lost efficiency, and even bearing failure.
Reduces Sludge: It stops heavy carbon buildup and sludge from coating vital engine components.
