IYBA digital services platform gains momentum among industry subscribers

The International Yacht Brokers Association (IYBA) has introduced a new digital services platform that is quickly gaining traction among industry users.
Brewer Yacht Sales, Galati Yacht Sales and HMY Yachts are among more than 200 companies now using one or more of IYBA's digital platforms. These include: BoatDox.org to process deals and related documents online; YachtBroker.org to help create, manage and disseminate MLS boat listings; and Yachtr.com to market listings to the public.
With the help of IYBA's digital services, COO Paul Flannery explained how companies are now able to look beyond traditional marine MLS services and regain control of their central boat listings and proprietary digital marketing campaigns.
"Our hats are off to them [IYBA's existing users] for recognising the hard work IYBA has done to engineer a modern alternative to outdated methods of processing, warehousing and disseminating digital data,” said Flannery.
Galati Yacht Sales, based in Florida, was among the first to beta test and later adopt each of the programs. "We’re very excited to have transitioned our team onto the IYBA’s digital services platform,” said broker Carmine Galati Jr. "Combined with recent investments in SEO, GEO and broader digital initiatives, we’re confident these platforms will continue to drive meaningful lead generation and support sustained inventory growth across the network – while equipping our sales, marketing and business office teams with the tools needed to operate more efficiently and deliver greater value to our customers.”
For Hal Slater, president of Brewer Yacht Sales, IYBA's digital services are indicative of where the industry is naturally heading, according to the needs of clients. "Times have changed and buyers aren’t shopping at one particular website any longer – that “front door” is gone. Buyers now have a highway of data available to them … and our listings need to be on that highway.
