We can’t get enough of Mercedes-Benz S600 V12. The flagship of an era when budget limits didn’t exist. The only thing that mattered was who was sitting in the back: a minister, a Wall Street shark, or someone you didn’t ask questions about…

Inside you are completely isolated from the world. Double pane windows, rich wood trim, and a fully integrated car phone to run your empire straight from the driver’s seat.

And here is what only true enthusiasts know, the legendary M120 V12 under this hood became the foundation for the engine that would later power the Pagani Zonda.

This car is now live on Bring a Trailer.

The 1997 Mercedes-Benz S600 is flagship luxury at its absolute finest!

The W140 platform represents an era when Mercedes-Benz built cars without a single cost restriction.

Chosen by people with taste and power: Wall Street sharks, Hollywood stars, and world ministers.

Under the hood lies the legendary 6.0L M120 V12, an engine so masterfully over-engineered that Horacio Pagani chose it as the foundational power plant for the original Pagani Zonda.

Finished with a signature pillarless side profile, double-pane acoustic glass, and a factory-integrated car phone.
