Spoiler alert: It’s not the alignment. It's steering wheel play. Worn inner tie rods, loose rack bushings, or a sloppy U joint. That "dead zone" in your steering is actually a safety delay. At 60 mph, a loose steering wheel means you’re a passenger until the car decides to turn.
