Most lease ads lead with the gross. Here’s the other side — where the money goes, line by line, under our October 2026 lease program.
Off the top, a 15% dispatch fee on each load’s pay — $1,500 on a $10,000 load.
Then the fixed weekly charges. Three are the same on every truck: the 53' re**er trailer at $450, insurance at $525 (liability, physical damage and cargo), and admin at $550 (office, safety and compliance, accounting) — $1,525 a week. On top of it comes the truck rent, which depends on the model and year, from $850 to $1,200, with plates and the 2290 highway use tax included. Together, the fixed weekly total runs from $2,375 to $2,725.
Those are fixed dollars, so their share of the week depends on what the week grosses. On a 2025 Cascadia ($2,550 a week), that’s about 32% of an $8,000 week, 25.5% of a $10,000 week, 21% of $12,000 and 18% of $14,000. Fuel, maintenance and the dispatch fee come on top of that. A strong week spreads fixed costs thin. A slow week doesn’t.
Maintenance is charged per mile.
Basic is 17¢ and covers truck and trailer mechanical failures not caused by the driver; brakes, tires, oil changes and PM stay with the driver.
Full is 22¢ and adds oil changes, PM and normal brake and tire wear, done at Forrest Shop. On both plans, blowouts and every roadside tire repair are paid by the driver.
Fuel and tolls are charged as used, through the company fuel card and toll account. Escrow is $250 a week until $2,500 is held, and it’s settled when the lease ends. Pay is weekly, by direct deposit.
These rates apply to new lease agreements from October 2026, and the signed agreement is final. Read every line — ours included — and ask any carrier to show you theirs the same way.
