Hello all!

We are so excited to bring you some great food at these amazing events!

Wednesday through Friday: 10:30am to 2:30pm at our home location 314 S. 1st Street

Saturday: At the Second Annual Garrett County Pride Festival from 11am to 5pm (ish) at Friendsville community park

Sunday: At the Cars and Ice Cream Fathers Day car show in the Oakland town parking lot

Our special will be Cheeseburgers 🍔 and for people who prefer a meat free meal we will have a vegetarian burger 🌿

One year ago, I got a phone call that no one ever wants. I was shocked, in disbelief and still can't believe it's true to this day. Jason Dewitt was a staple in the car community in this town. But you have continued to touch so many lives, even after you were taken from us so soon! I miss you my friend! Please keep praying for his family and love ones.

It is with great sadness and our deepest regrets to inform everyone that our co-founder, Jason Dewitt, passed away this morning. Jason was such a vital part of starting Cars and Ice Cream and we will continue the legacy he leaves behind. Him and I would talk for hours about having something for our Oakland Car Community in 2019/2020. And when the world stopped in 2020, we knew we had to do something and that when Cars & Ice Cream was born. He would randomly stop by my house and we would talk about how we wanted show locally for us, the people who loves cars and good ice cream and food! Jason always seems to know everyone in town. He was the one who would go find local sponsors for us to put together soooo many goodies bags are one of our first major shows with the town of Oakland. He was always wanting bigger and better! From creating our logo to the pop up canopy, he wanted it to be the best thing the car community saw in this area! I truly feel his favorite meet was one where we were running out of room for cars! I can remember the smile on our faces that day!
He loved his Mustang but he was truly a car person!

We will miss you my friend! Please pray for his wife, children, his parents and the entire family!

The car community lost a great one today! Rest easy my friend, we will take it from here!

We are sadden to hear the news of the passing of Dorsey Rumer Jr. I don't think Mr. Rumer missed one Cars and Ice cream meet and I truly looked forwarded to catching up with him at each one. I know Mr. Rumer and Jason are probably already been to heaven's track seeing who can have the best time. We are praying for the family during this difficult time.

I was stopped today while videoing all the beautiful vehicles today by a woman. She showed me this rubber band in the shape of a heart and said that this is definitely a sign the Jason Dewitt was here with us today and smiling down! Thank you to everyone coming out today! Thank you to Uniqdetailing , Devlers Ice Cream Co, D’s Eats and Shentel for coming out hanging out with us! Please share photos, tag us in them and invite people to like the page! The next couple weeks we will be organizing our next meet but plan on making the memorial meet a new tradition for Father’s Day!
