Cory Hunt brought his baddass air-ride & supercharged Harley in for some tuning after adding some more Cicada Audio parts.

This audio systems consists of:

Pioneer dmh-wt9600nex headunit
Dayton 408 8ch DSP
2 Sound Digital 2000w 4 channels
1 Sound Digital 400w 4 channel
2 Cicada 6.5" pros (bi-amped)
2 Cicada 8" pros (bi amped)
2 Ciada 10" woofers

Once we got the JL Max system set-up and running it was painfully obvious something was wrong. A few minutes of professional troubleshooting and we had it located, isolated and temporarily bypassed enough to get through the tuning session.

We have a specific target curve for bikes because they are vastly different from vehicles in more than a couple ways, and that allowed us to gain a bunch of midbass and a ton of volume output during this session and that's exactly what the client wanted.

Now he can hear the system over that gnarly engine and exhaust!

Thanks for continuing to trust us with your unique and badass builds.

This brand new Ford Performance WhippleCharged F150 came in for some new jams to match the go-fast under the hood!

First we use software to tame the OEM audio control module to get rid of SOME of the ridiculous equalization.

Then we converted the oem 4 speaker system to the 6 speaker layout.

Custom adapters are designed and 3d printed in house for all locations.

Then we went to our friends at MSC America (
Brax, Helix, Match by Audiotec Fischer ) & KICKER for the best gear on the market.

Helix Amplify 206 dsp/amp churning out 190w to each ci5 200mm door woofer, 150w to each ci5 80mm dash mid and 100w to each ci5 25mm tweeter.

Helix Amplify 201 mono amp is providing 600w to a Kicker L7T 10 d2 housed in an MTI Acoustics bts custom ported box.

Both amps are hidden under the passenger seat on a CNC cut hdpe board with a NO DRILL install. Easy access for maintenance and just showing the goods is always a top priority.

A 3d scanned, designed and printed housing sits within the center consol tray to give total digital control at the driver's fingertips, including total volume, sub volume and tonality via the Helix conductor.

After the install is complete now come's the critical tuning work;
- We don't just start turning dials, guessing at this and trying that on a whim...
1- We attend ongoing psycho-acoustics and tuning classes allowing us to extract every last penny of your new audio investment.
2- We check the input signal to the dsp and work out any eq and anomalies via the analysis software.
3- We set delays with impulse responses for pure precision, set EQ with RTA, double check phase cohesion with the dual FFT ability.
4- We then sit in the vehicle and add the salt and pepper by ear.
5- We then allow YOU the customer to hang out for an hour and we can curtail it to exactly how YOU want it to sound.

That's how we do it.

More digital precision; cramming 2 bigger amps where one smaller one used to be while still utilizing factory mounting locations, ✔️.

Scan, cad, test, finalize.

There's lots of buzz words in this industry currently, which can literally make your head spin.

As a potential customer, don't be scared to ask a shop to show you their prior work and even the equipment they use to accomplish it.

Here's how we tackle projects when there are zero commercial solutions.

This brand new GMC AT4 came in for a complete audio system!

This truck was equipped with the bottom tier Bose system which consists of a 2way front stage, coaxial rears and a console sub.

By choice of the owner, we converted it to a 3 way active, 2 way passive rear with 2 sealed downfire 12s.

For a deadened foundation, we went with shield throughout the truck, inside the doors and SGS door blocker panels.

For integration we went to our friends at NAV-TV for their avb unit for a perfectly clean and un-altered signal.

For DSP and amplification we went to our pals at Audio Dynamics and used their 1200.8 dsp/amp and a sd1200.1 for the subs.

In the front we used AD H1 tweeters, AD 2" 3k series in the dash, and AD 8" 3k series in the doors, mounted with our own designed and printed adapters for an oem fit and finish.

In the rear we went with AD 6.5" 2k series component set in passive.

Under the rear seat we used AD 12" shallow subs receing 1200w RMS in an MTI Acoustics sealed down-fire box.

To dial it all in, we used the Garmin Audio JL Max 5mic array system and years of ongoing training with MSE to give this ride the best sounding audio system we could, without guessing. Once the customer arrives to pick up their vehicle with sit with them for at least an hour to dial that last few percent in just how THEY like it.
