I’m going to make a statement to all the racers in the MidSouth. Our drag racing scene has been je**ed around by millionaires and track owners for years now. River Road, Jackson, Memphis….. you know the story. We have lost and had racing spots and tracks held for ransom with no real hope of getting them back.
These are decisions made by an individual at the end of the day, a person DECIDED to close these tracks. Where am I going with this? We have someone right here in our area keeping drag racing alive. The Grudge on the Gate races are coolest thing the Memphis Area has seen in years.
Dennis Bailey stepped up and has given us 3 races so far that were absolutely amazing. He didn’t have to do any of it, and it’s a huge headache for a racer to promote and organize an event. I’m sure he would rather be racing himself.
He supports racing in the mid south, it’s basic math that racers should reciprocate and support him. Keep the local ecosystem alive and flourishing. If you buy tires, buy them from BB&T Racing..the Midsouths leading performance shop. If you need oil, filters, fuel jugs, spark plugs, whatever…… go buy them from BB&T.
Help support the very effort that has given us all the best racing we have seen in the MidSouth. There are big things on the horizon I’m just going to say it. It will only happen if we support each other.
Get your ass to BB&T Racing and buy something even if you don’t need it, it helps the entire racing community. Jegs and Summit make plenty of money, they don’t need yours.
