I’m starting to see a pattern here! Nana and Papa walked into Columbia Cadillac and said, “I want the big boy, and I want ALL that can be put on it.” The salesman probably asked if they had a budget and Papa replied, “Son, did I stutter?”

And by golly, they got it.

Offering this beautiful 1993 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham with just 69k miles. Finished in the iconic Cotillion White over navy leather color combination and topped with a beautiful navy Stayfast canvas roof. This thing is absolutely dripping in chrome and gold. Full gold package, gold emblems, gold trim, and yes… gold-plated valve stem caps. Because when you’re already ordering the flagship Cadillac, what’s another few bucks to make the tire valve stems fancy too?

This car, wherever it is now, will always be special to me.

Aside from what I was asking for it back then compared to what it’s worth today, and the fact that it was a repossession (yes, a TitleMax repo from the original owner’s family 😆), this was the first official car I sold under the Specialty Motor Cars dealer license.

I had sold countless cars before it, but this was the one that marked the beginning of Specialty Motor Cars as it exists today. In many ways, this was the car that made me, me.

Hard to believe there was a time when I could offer a Dark Green Gray Metallic Impala like this for just $19,995. If only I could find them again at those prices… 😆
