The largest vehicle in VW’s American fleet has officially entered its second generation, with assembly already underway at the Chattanooga, Tennessee manufacturing plant.

• Stylish & Spacious: Built on the upgraded MQB Evo architecture, it retains its vast, class-leading interior passenger and cargo space.
• Huge Performance: It moves to a more powerful version of the "EA888" 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, bumping output to 282 horsepower while retaining a 5,000-pound maximum towing capacity.
• Modern Tech: The interior gets a luxury glow-up featuring a standard 15-inch infotainment display, an AI-powered voice assistant, and newly available premium features like massaging front seats.
• Pricing & Availability: Base prices for the 3-row Atlas start at $43,135 (reaching up to $56,610 for the top-tier SEL Premium R-Line). The sportier, 2-row Atlas Cross Sport redesign will follow later in the model year.
