RedSky Emergency Vehicles is proud to deliver this new FR Conversions, LLC Pioneer II XL Type II ambulance on the Ram ProMaster 2500 chassis.

The Pioneer II XL is built for real EMS work, with more room to move, a wider patient-care area, increased storage, lower load height, all-aluminum cabinetry, and a crash-tested safety package.

One key feature for Calexico’s climate is the secondary HVAC system with shoreline/station power capability. While the ambulance is staged at the station, the interior can be kept cool and ready to respond, giving crews a pre-cooled patient compartment before they even leave the bay.

For fire-based EMS in a hot desert environment, that means better efficiency, a cooler workspace for providers, and a more comfortable environment for patients.
