π§ *Temporary Grunow Driveway Traffic Update* π§
We wanted to let everyone know about a temporary traffic change affecting our property.
While the bridge into the River Heights Drive subdivision is being repaired, traffic in and out of the neighborhood will be temporarily rerouted through our driveway. This is expected to be in place for approximately the next month.
Because of the additional traffic, we ask that **everyone**βboth those using the temporary route and our customers visiting the shopβplease use extra caution when entering and exiting our property. Our driveway is shared by vehicles traveling in both directions and isn't overly wide, so please watch for oncoming traffic, pedestrians, and vehicles pulling in and out.
Yesterday, the temporary road opened sooner than we expected, and we experienced several close calls with vehicles traveling too fast through our lot. We have customers walking to and from their vehicles, employees working throughout the property, and our children are occasionally here as well, safety is our top priority.
To help keep everyone safe, you'll notice:
π **5 MPH** signs posted along our driveway.
β οΈ Speed bumps are being installed near the entrance and again midway through the property to help slow traffic.
Since our driveway is gravel, driving slowly also helps reduce dust and prevents loose stones from being kicked up, helping protect pedestrians, your vehicle, our customers' vehicles, and our vehicles for sale on our property.
As a gentle reminder, our property is monitored by security cameras. We truly hope everyone will help us keep this temporary route safe by following the posted 5 MPH speed limit through our property and being courteous to others using the driveway.
We appreciate everyone's patience and understanding while the bridge is being repaired. Thank you for helping us keep our customers, employees, neighbors, and visitors safe. β€οΈ
