North Olympic Peninsula: Scenic 61-mile-long Hwy 112 connecting Port Angeles, Joyce, Clallam Bay, Sekiu and Neah Bay offers a view of the water here and there - but roadside perspective can't beat a lovely boat ride along this lost coast!

It was a successful weekend for a few boat loads of Wet Dog Boats customers!

️✅️ North Olympic Flounder Pounder
✅ Lake Sutherland trout fishing
✅️ A first time lingcod catch (32" near town!)
✅ Spot shrimp limits

Upcoming:
- June 15th: Last day for Puget Sound Lingcod
- June 21st and 22nd: final spot shrimp days
- June 30th: Last day of spring Halibut
- July 1st: Marine Area 6 Chinook opens
- Early July: Marine Area 6 crab season might open (we're still awaiting an announcement from WDFW)

There's a "fishing ain't cheap!" saying - but June 6th and June 7th are both "Free Fishing" days! Sounds like a great opportunity to take somebody to fish the North Olympic Flounder Pounder on Saturday. Sh*****ng is also open on Sunday, but a license is required.

The WDFW announced that this year's free fishing weekend will return across Washington state June 6–7, allowing people to fish for many species without purchasing a license. Some species remain explicitly banned, however. MORE BELOW ⬇️

Check out the new guests staying at the Feiro Marine Life Center in Port Angeles! Happy to see these lively spot shrimp doing well after we got to help catch and deliver them under the center's Scientific Collection Permit!
