We had a wonderful time hosting the FCALI members for the F1 event at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin,Tex … as always the hardest worker was our Sophia who out did herself with the spread…. And the best seller was the heavenly chicken wings from Han Korean restaurant in Port Washington (if you haven’t tried their wings, you are definitely missing out)

Driving this 1963 Alfa Romeo 2600 Sprint Coupe is definitely a throwback to another time when driving a sports car meant you become one with this analog machine as there is a direct feedback loop to every input you make on the car…. It’s not about the absolute speed but the art of driving and the reward you can extract from the experience… A true Veloce!

Alfa Romeo 2600 (Tipo 106) was Alfa Romeo’s flagship produced from 1962 to 1968… Historically, it represents the first design penned by Giugiaro working for Bertone and the last Alfa Romeo model powered by a dual OHC inline six-cylinder engine, concluding a nearly 50 years tradition of different iterations of inline six-cylinder engines dating back to the 1920’s… The heart of 2600 was an all alloy 2684cc DOHC inline six fed by triple twin choke Solex carburetors churning 145 Hp and capable of 124mph… Another six cylinder was not introduced back into market till 1979, however in 60 degree V6 design which also became a legendary known as the Busso 2.5 liter..

This particular 2600 Sprint Coupe is an extremely well kept version example, 1963 model with Girling calipers in the front and drum brakes in the rear, which appears to have received both cosmetic and mechanical restoration at one point in its life… Comes from Stan Zagorski Alfa collection… with only 6,999 models produced during its seven year production run, very few remain in this condition… Fir further inquires please contact John or Sal at Scuder110 and also Look for it coming up in BAT auction…

Happy Columbus Day everyone! And congratulazioni to Charles LeClerc for 2nd place podium finish at Singapore Grand Prix! Back to Monday morning “happy” madness at Scuderia110…. We have presently three Ferrari 355 gated Spyders for major services… The 355 in any iteration of body styles are amazing to drive and my personal favorite as it provides best blend of modern and analog driving experience…. And that Cinque Valvole is smoother than Johnny Walker Blue… Thank You to all those Scuderia110 members & customers who entrust their Ferraris to Us!
