🚴‍♀️🛴 FREE HELMETS FOR PORTLAND RIDERS 🛴🚴‍♂️

Great news for our Portland community! The Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT) has partnered with Plaid Pantry to launch the Summer Safe Riding Program, providing 5,000 FREE bicycle helmets at 53 Plaid Pantry locations throughout Portland, while supplies last.

Starting June 1, helmets are available on a first come, first served basis for riders ages 12 and older, with a limit of one helmet per person.

Why is this important? PBOT wants to help keep everyone safe this summer by encouraging bicyclists and scooter riders of all ages to wear a properly fitted, CPSC-approved helmet whenever riding in public. Oregon law also requires riders under age 16 to wear a helmet.
