🎃👻 HALLOWEEN TRICK-OR-TREATING IN LOWER POTTSGROVE TOWNSHIP! 🕸️🍬
Halloween is almost here! For those choosing to participate in trick-or-treating, the suggested hours for Saturday, October 31, are 5:30 PM–8:30 PM. 🧡
Whether you’re heading out with little ghosts and goblins or welcoming trick-or-treaters at home, let’s work together to make Halloween fun, safe, and enjoyable for everyone!
🦺 HALLOWEEN SAFETY TIPS:
🎃 Be visible: Use reflective tape, glow sticks, or flashlights to help children be seen by drivers.
🚸 Cross safely: Use sidewalks and crosswalks whenever possible. Look both ways and make eye contact with drivers before crossing.
👨👩👧 Stay together: Young children should be accompanied by a responsible adult. Older children should travel in groups and stick to a planned route.
🚗 Drive carefully: Slow down in residential neighborhoods, watch for children crossing streets, and avoid distractions.
🍬 Check treats: Inspect candy and treats before allowing children to eat them.
🏠 Be a welcoming neighbor: If participating, keep walkways and porches well-lit and clear of obstacles. Keep pets secured and visible decorations away from walkways.
🧙 Costume safety: Make sure costumes fit properly to prevent tripping, and use face paint or makeup when masks may obstruct vision.
Let’s make this Halloween a BOO-tiful night filled with treats, smiles, and safe fun throughout Lower Pottsgrove Township! 🧡🖤
Happy Halloween, Lower Pottsgrove! 🎃👻
