The end of an era.
Today, we say goodbye to a place that was so much more than just a skating rink. After more than 40 years, Chester Skateland is closing its doors, leaving behind decades of memories that will never fade.
For generations of families, this was where childhood happened. First pairs of skates. First falls and victories. First dates. Birthday parties filled with pizza, music, and the sound of wheels rolling across the floor. So many friendships were made under those lights, and so many lives were touched within those walls.
Chester Skateland wasn’t just a business — it was a tradition, a safe place, and a second home for so many in our community. The laughter, music, and memories created here will live on long after the final skate tonight.
Thank you to everyone at Chester Skateland who made this place special over the last four decades. Thank you, for giving us memories we’ll carry forever.
While it’s heartbreaking to see this chapter come to an end, the skating community is still alive and rolling.
