Which one are you taking?

On one side, the ultimate modern track weapon: the Porsche GT4 RS. Go cart handling, screaming 9,000 RPM flat 6 a foot behind your head, and enough driver aids that even I would be fast on track with it.

On the other, pure old-school insanity: the 930 Turbo. Built, not bought. Raw boost, brutal power delivery, and a driving experience that demands your full attention every single second, but is equally rewarding.

One is refined, sophisticated, and engineered to perfection. The other is a vintage sledgehammer that still knows how to put a smile on your face.

Thankfully, there are no wrong answers here.

GT4 RS or 930 Turbo?

So excited about my new 87 Turbo! Sold my 86 single cab Turbo last year, hoping to find this exact one and finally did! And don’t worry, I’m not going to back to the future it!

Sneak Peek 👀

Crossing the block on Bring a Trailer next week…

1988 Ford Mustang GT Convertible • 5.0 HO V8 • 5-Speed Manual

This isn’t just a low-mile Fox Body—it’s a true time capsule. One owner, just 9k original miles, completely original, and still wearing the very same tires it left the factory with nearly 40 years ago.

Finished in beautiful Medium Cabernet Metallic over the factory white sport interior with a white convertible top, this survivor has been preserved at a level that simply doesn’t exist anymore. Original paint, original interior, original drivetrain, original tires.

If you’ve ever wondered what a brand-new Fox Body looked like in 1988, here it is.

You must only choose one

Some trucks are just vehicles. Others become family.

This 2004 Toyota Tundra Limited 4x4 has been with me for 19 years, and without question, it’s the best and most reliable vehicle I’ve ever owned.

Over the last 250,000 miles it has hauled trailers across the country, made multiple coast-to-coast trips, plowed snow for the last six winters, carried my family on countless camping trips, and brought three of my four children home from the hospital when they were born. And it’s tackled more off-road adventures than I can remember. Through all of it, this truck has never once let me down.

This is my “bad weather” truck. The one I grab when the roads are ugly and conditions are less than ideal. It’s not a garage queen, but somehow it still looks like one. If you know me, you know why. I take care of my vehicles, and this truck has returned the favor every single day.

A lot of vehicles come and go through my life, but this one isn’t going anywhere. It’s earned its place.

250,000 miles later, it’s still showing up, still working hard, and still looking pretty dang good.

Toyota built something special with these first-generation Tundras

🦄 UNICORN ALERT 🦄

Some vehicles are rare. Others are once-in-a-lifetime. This 2004 Toyota 4Runner Limited 4x4 falls into the second category.

Dorado Gold Pearl over Taupe leather, powered by the legendary 2UZ-FE V8, and showing just 19,554 original miles. One owner, dealer serviced since new, and quite literally as close to brand new as a 22-year-old SUV can be.

The paint shines like it just rolled off the showroom floor, the interior looks untouched, and the undercarriage is every bit as impressive as the rest of the vehicle. Every detail reflects a lifetime of meticulous ownership and care.

Finding a V8 Gen 4 4Runner is getting difficult. Finding a one-owner V8 Limited 4x4 with only 19K miles is nearly impossible.

These are the vehicles we live for at Tyacke Motors. If you didn’t believe in unicorns before, now is the time to start. If I won’t park it in my own driveway, I won’t sell it.

This 2014 Toyota Tacoma Regular Cab 4x4 Automatic is an absolute gem with just 57,000 original miles. Finished in Silver Sky Metallic over a Gray interior, this lifetime Southern California truck is as clean as they come. Rust-free, corrosion-free, and exceptionally well cared for, it looks just as impressive underneath as it does on top.

The paint shines like new, the interior is spotless, and the undercarriage is exactly why we love West Coast trucks so much.

But the best part? It’s a CONSOLE truck. Tacoma enthusiasts know how uncommon these are, and finding one this clean with this mileage is getting nearly impossible.

Only the most unique and the best from your friends at Tyacke Motors.

If I wouldn’t park it in my own driveway, I won’t buy it.

🌮 TACO TUESDAY 🌮

It’s Taco Tuesday, and we’ve got a good one!

This 2007 Toyota Tacoma SR5 Double Cab Long Bed 4x4 is the kind of truck that reminds us why we specialize in West Coast Toyotas. Lifelong Long Beach, California ownership with just 127,000 original miles, finished in Super White over Gray cloth and preserved in exceptional condition inside and out.

The rare long bed configuration is something you almost never see anymore, especially in this kind of condition. The paint and body are laser straight, all original panels retain their VIN stickers, and the interior looks and feels years newer than its mileage would suggest. The undercarriage is exactly what you’d expect from a Southern California truck—clean, dry, and rust-free.

Loaded with SR5 equipment, TRD Sport wheels wrapped in brand-new BFGoodrich tires, WeatherTech floor mats, sliding rear window, soft tonneau cover, tinted windows, and more. Backed by over 35 service records on the CARFAX and freshly serviced with new brakes, shocks, water pump, pulleys, tensioners, serpentine belt, spark plugs, and filters.

Finding a second-generation Tacoma is easy. Finding one like this is not.

Who else loves a long-bed Tacoma? 👇

I think at this point it’s safe to say we’re the Toyota Kings. 👑

When 95% of your inventory is Toyota and Lexus products, you know you’re doing something right.

The biggest reason? It’s what I choose to drive every single day. Not because I have to, but because I want to. These vehicles have earned my respect through years of ownership, experience, and hundreds upon hundreds of vehicles sold. They’re reliable, durable, hold their value, and simply do what they’re supposed to do better than just about anything else on the road.

We don’t sell them because they’re popular. We sell them because we genuinely love them.

Take a look around the lot and you’ll see exactly what we’re talking about: Tacomas, Tundras, 4Runners, Land Cruisers, Sequoias, GXs, LXs, and a few unicorns mixed in for good measure.

If I wouldn’t park it in my own driveway, I won’t buy it. And my driveway has been full of Toyotas for as long as I can remember.

People always ask if these undercarriages are dry ice blasted. The answer is no.

This is a 2021 Toyota Tacoma TRD Off-Road from Southern California. The truck was already clean, rust-free, and well cared for when it arrived. The key is starting with a quality West Coast truck and then spending the time to properly clean, detail, and preserve it.

A little degreaser, some wheel acid, a pressure washer, plenty of elbow grease, and attention to detail can make a huge difference. We’re not hiding anything, painting over anything, or trying to make a rough truck look good. We’re simply bringing a clean truck back to the condition it deserves.

The before and after speaks for itself. This is exactly why I spend so much time searching for Southern California trucks. Start with the right truck, and amazing things happen.

If I wouldn’t park it in my own driveway, I won’t buy it.
