Halloween is here, and there's no tricks, just treats from your favorite crew! 💀🔧

But wait... don't let the candy distract you from the truly terrifying thing: forgetting to FALL BACK! ⏰🍂

This Sunday, November 1st, Daylight Saving Time comes to an end. While you’re recovering from your candy comas, don’t forget to turn your clocks back one hour before you go to bed on Saturday night!

You’ll get an extra hour of sleep 😴, but we all know the real challenge is trying to remember how to reset that stubborn clock on your dashboard! 🚗🤯 If your clock has you haunted, don’t stress—just swing by the shop and we’ll be happy to help you banish that time-travel glitch without any jump scares.

❄️🚗 "Click-click-click... groan..."

Does your car sound like it's having a rough morning when the temperature drops? You’re not alone! The cold weather has arrived, and it’s the ultimate test for your vehicle’s starting system.

If your car is struggling to start when it’s cold, here are the usual suspects we look for in the shop:

🔋 The Battery: This is the #1 culprit! Cold temps slow down the chemical reaction inside your battery, while your engine needs more power to turn over. If your battery is over 3 years old, the cold might just be too much for it to handle.
🔌 Spark Plugs & Wires: Worn-out plugs have a harder time creating the spark needed to ignite cold fuel.
⛽ Fuel Issues: Water or moisture in the fuel lines can freeze, blocking gas from reaching your engine. (P.S. Keeping your gas tank at least half full can help prevent this!)
🌀 The Starter & Alternator: If your alternator isn’t recharging your battery, or your starter is on its last legs, the cold will bring those issues to light fast.
🧴 Thick Engine Oil: Older or incorrect weight oil gets thick like molasses in the cold, making it much harder for your engine to spin.

Don't wait until you're stranded in a freezing parking lot! If your car is hesitating on these chilly mornings, bring it by and let’s test that battery and electrical system before the real deep freeze hits. 🛠️❄️

Thank you all for your patience this week. We’re wrapping up our vacation with some family & headed home. Ricky & his family welcomed their baby girl & Kohen had some much needed R&R. We’ll be back ready to roll Tuesday. Hold tight while we gather our bearings & move the wheels again.
