People don't believe me when I tell them they are better off buying an older uses car and fixing it up until they spend $40,000 to $50,000 on a new car just to run in to cheap materials and build quality issues.

They often have a false sense of security that the warranty will take care of any issues they have until they don't.

True story. I was a friend's for a holiday gathering. There were drinks and Jello shots and i found my self eying a white folding table in the corner of the room.

Sadly there is no footage of me riding said table. I was advised if i tried to ride the table i would be cut off 😂

But you can't deny the resemblance of a Honda Motocompacto and a Lifetime folding table. Practically twins

A scammer tried to sell me my own username as a domain… so I bought it. 😳

Not from him — from Squarespace, my actual registrar, for a fraction of what he might have wanted. Here's why that matters: scammers troll social media looking for business owners who don't have their domain locked down yet, then slide into your DMs or inbox posing like they're doing you a favor by "securing" it for you.

Don't ever buy a domain from someone who reaches out to you first. Here's the real risk: if you buy through them, THEY control the registration — not you. That means they can jack the price up whenever they want, lock you out entirely, or just vanish with your money and your name.

If you don't already own your business's domain, go buy it yourself right now from a real registrar (Squarespace, GoDaddy, Namecheap — doesn't matter which, just do it directly). Takes five minutes and saves you a massive headache down the line.

This is the moment from Top Gear's £1500 Porsche Challenge where Clarkson swears his car is running perfectly, then immediately rattles off a list of everything wrong with it — which is exactly the disconnect people fall into on after buying a car without doing a proper test drive and getting stuck woth everything thats broken.
