4 things we’d check on your car BEFORE North Idaho winter hits. 🥶🚗

If you’ve lived in North Idaho for any amount of time, you know how quickly the weather can change. One day it’s sunny and 70°, and the next you’re scraping ice off your windshield before school drop-off. 😅

And while we can’t control the weather, we CAN help make sure your vehicle is ready for it!

Here are 4 things we recommend checking before those freezing temperatures arrive:

🍂 Wiper blades: Rain, snow, and road grime can make it hard to see. Worn-out wipers only make it worse.

🍂 Tires: Tread depth and proper tire pressure matter, especially as temperatures drop and roads get slick. Cold weather can also cause your tire pressure to decrease.

🍂 Battery + charging system: Cold temperatures reduce your battery’s ability to deliver power, which means that battery that’s been doing just fine all summer might suddenly struggle to start your car.

🍂 Antifreeze + coolant: Your cooling system doesn’t just prevent overheating in the summer. Proper antifreeze protection helps keep your engine safe when temperatures drop below freezing.

The good news? We’ve bundled all four into our Fall Safety & Visibility Package for just $89.99! That’s over $150 in value!

Your package includes:
✅ New front wiper blades (up to $50 value)
✅ Tire rotation + tread and pressure check
✅ Battery and charging-system test
✅ Cold-weather antifreeze/coolant check

Because the last thing you need on a freezing Monday morning is a car that won’t start when you’re already running late.

Available through November 30th! Give us a call or book your appointment online. Let’s get your vehicle ready for whatever North Idaho throws our way. 🧡

A check engine light doesn’t care that rent is due. Your brakes don’t know you just paid for groceries. And unfortunately, car trouble rarely shows up at a convenient time.

But you rely on your vehicle every single day. To get to work. To get the kids to school. To make it to practices, appointments, and everywhere else life takes you.

You shouldn’t have to choose between your finances and keeping that vehicle safe and reliable.

That’s why we offer interest-free payment plans through Klarna, Affirm, and Sunbit. You can get the repairs your vehicle needs now and break the cost into more manageable payments.

If something doesn’t feel right with your vehicle, don’t keep putting it off because you’re worried about the bill. Bring it in, let us take a look, and we’ll walk you through your repair and payment options.

Our mission is helping you show up when it matters most, and sometimes that means making an unexpected repair a little less stressful. 🧡

Christina’s review reminds us why we do what we do. Our goal has never been to simply fix vehicles. It’s to build relationships and earn the kind of trust that keeps families coming back year after year.

Knowing that someone feels confident recommending us to their friends and family is one of the greatest compliments we could ever receive.

Christina, thank you for trusting us with both your vehicles and for taking the time to share your experience. Your kind words mean the world to our entire team. 🧡

If you’ve had a great experience with C&S Automotive, we’d be so grateful if you took a couple of minutes to leave us a Google review. Every review helps other families find a mechanic they can trust, and it makes a huge difference for our small business.

Thank you for continuing to support our family, our team, and our mission of helping you show up when it matters most.

C&S Automotive | Phase 1 🔨

Every finished building starts with getting the bones right.

Phase 1 was all about establishing the first and second-floor office areas and getting the structure moving vertically. Walls went up, floor systems came together, and the building started taking shape.

➡️ Swipe through to see Phase 1 come together.

Next up: 18-foot shop walls, second-floor framing, and some serious vertical progress.

Want to see more of what we’re building? Check out our current projects on the Hill Top Craftsmen website.

And if this looks like the kind of work you want to be part of, check out our Careers page. We’re always looking for craftsmen who want to add to their skillset, work on cool projects, and keep building.
