Folks, when (re)sealing your RV, use the correct sealants for the application. RVs use polyurethane -- NOT silicone -- for non-sag applications (used on seams, around windows, doors, storage/utility compartments & body mouldings. Silicone absolutely will not bond properly and it WILL leak. SOme industry sealants include: Geocel ProFlex RV, Dicor 551 series & Sikaflex 221.
For self-leveling applications (on the roof, around vents, antennas & other roof penetrations), use Dicor 501 series or Sikaflex 715 series.
For the edge/gutter moulding, some techs use self-leveling, some use polyurethane. If you're confident in laying a bead with sealants that sag, go for it. Otherwise, use one of the polyurethane sealants listed above.
