The Street Kings Auto Club would like to thank everyone who came out for both of the amazing causes yesterday, especially in the rain.
During the morning hours, even with a lite sprinkle, the Street Kings Auto Club traveled to Lebanon Virginia where we attended one of our neighboring Auto Clubs amazing events to help raise awareness and funds for St. Jude's hospital and the amazing children there. "Muscles in the Mountains" were able to raise over $5000 for St. Jude's hospital.
The Street Kings Auto Club then made the trip back to Richlands Virginia and set-up at Lulu's Ice Cream Parlor for a second event for Miss Bella Ward, which is also attending St. Jude's hospital currently.
Unfortunately, it began to rain heavily at the beginning of our second event of the day and we began to think it may not be the best turnout. Our amazing community didn't care about a little rain. They still came out to show their love and support. One by one amazing cars, trucks, and motorcycles of all makes and models started pulling into the parking lot.
We as a community, even in the pouring rain, were able to raise over $700 for Miss Bella Ward. This just shows how amazing our community is. We ask that you still keep Miss Bella Ward and her family, as well as the rest of the children attending St. Jude's hospital in your thoughts and prayers during these difficult times.
We again would just like to say thank you to everyone that came out yesterday. We are so proud of our community. On a day full of rain we were able to raise almost $6000 for children facing challenges that no child should ever have to face.
We would also like to thank Lulu's Ice Cream Parlor for having us out and making some of the best food and ice cream around!
