Here at ClassicLinc, we've had some pretty unique requests over the years, but this one definitely takes the cake... or should we say, keeps it refrigerated! 🧊🤣

One of our customers loved the color of the classic car we restored for him so much that he asked us to paint his refrigerator doors to match his car! 😎🔥

That's right! Why stop at having a beautiful ride in the garage when you can have a matching fridge in the garage?!

We always say we're passionate about bringing classics back to life, but apparently, now we're bringing a little horsepower to the freezer, too! 🔧🎨

At ClassicLinc, we don't just restore classics... sometimes we help your appliances look just as cool as your ride! 😁

🚗🔥 IT'S FRIDAY AT CLASSICLINC! 🔥🚗

They say Friday is the day you start winding down for the weekend...

🤣 Apparently, nobody told the classic cars!

🔧 That bolt that's been stuck since 1967? Still stuck.

🔧 That "quick 30-minute job"? We're on hour four.

🔧 That mystery rattle? Disappears every time we try to find it.

🔧 And that project that's "almost finished"? Well... we don't use those words around here anymore! 😂

But hey, the tools are still turning, the engines are still roaring, and we're one day closer to bringing another classic back to life! 💪

🚨 WHEN A GOOD PAINT JOB GOES BAD! 🚨

🎨 A beautiful paint job is only as good as the preparation underneath it!

Here at ClassicLinc, we see firsthand what happens when corners are cut during the painting process.

This vehicle came into our shop with a serious case of paint delamination. The paint is literally peeling away from the surface because of poor adhesion! 😳

Whether it's improper sanding, inadequate cleaning, incompatible materials, or skipping critical preparation steps, the results can be costly.

🔧 And here's the kicker: You can't just spray more paint over it and expect it to stay!

The failing material has to be removed, the surface properly prepared, and the refinishing process done correctly.

💥 The lesson? The most important part of a paint job is what you DON'T see!

At ClassicLinc, we believe in doing things right, not just making them look right. Because a beautiful finish means nothing if it doesn't last!

🎀 October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month 🎀

At ClassicLinc, we spend our days restoring things that have been through the years, bringing back their strength, beauty, and character.

But some battles are much bigger than anything we’ll ever face in the shop.

This month, we proudly recognize the fighters, survivors, families, caregivers, and the loved ones we remember who have been affected by breast cancer. 💗

Just like every restoration has a story, every pink ribbon represents a story too. A story of courage, hope, perseverance, and love.

From everyone here at ClassicLinc, we stand with those fighting today, celebrate those who have overcome, and honor those we have lost.

🍎📚 Happy World Teachers’ Day from ClassicLinc! 🔧🏁

Behind every great mechanic, painter, fabricator, builder, and craftsman was someone who took the time to teach them how to do it right.

Teachers don’t just teach lessons from a book. They teach patience, problem-solving, creativity, and the confidence to take something apart and figure out how to put it back together. Around a restoration shop, we can definitely appreciate that last one! 😂

Today, we want to say THANK YOU to all the teachers who invest their time and energy into the next generation.

You’re helping build the future one student at a time, just like we bring the past back to life one classic at a time. 🇺🇸🔧

🍂 HELLO, OCTOBER! 🎃🔧

The temperatures are dropping, the leaves are changing, and here at ClassicLinc, absolutely none of that means the project list is getting any shorter. 😂

We’re rolling into October with classics torn apart, engines waiting to fire, bodywork getting straighter, paint getting shinier, and enough car parts scattered around the shop to build at least three mystery vehicles. 🛠️🤣

While everybody else is thinking pumpkins, hoodies, and Halloween, we’re thinking horsepower, primer, and “where did we put that bracket six months ago?” 👻

Here’s to another month of saving old iron and bringing these classics back to life!

Some assembly required… 😂🔧

This is what a classic restoration looks like when you reach the stage where the truck is basically saying, “Here, hold all my stuff.”

Doors, panels, brackets, supports and enough loose pieces to make you wonder if Chevrolet sent us the instructions in a separate box. 🤣

It might look like a pile of parts right now, but every one of these pieces has a home. Getting them cleaned up, repaired, prepped and ready to go back where they belong is all part of bringing an old ride back to life.

The giant 1:1 scale model kit continues! 🛻🔩
