Starting to dial this laser in. No one seems to want to share settings with me so just had to figure it out and I think I did 🤙🏽

Biggest investment/purchase I’ve made for the shop and man will it pay itself off quick. This beats sanding by hand any day, just look at that finish!

Franks 34 came out epic. Cleaned up so well. It almost looks fake in some shots.

Excited to put it to use on the rest of the GTRs I’ve got here!

Franks R34 GT-R Attesa pump rebuild completed.

Completely torn down, all components blasted, enamel and cereakote used for coatings. The silver came out light grey so I’ll need to figure that one out, but overall happy with it. Moving forward will just be using cereakote on all bits.

New nitrogen can, banjo bolts, and bleed ni**le with a new dust cover complete the restore.

Gave Frank a little discount as it was my first pump restore, so we both win.

Smashed rails? No problem. Always make sure to bring back hammered frame rails back into shape. Sometimes requiring a completely new built piece depending on level of restoration, whatever it takes. Keaton’s nismo got a little bit of reshape work.

These get damaged from improper jacking and support stands being placed where they shouldn’t. If only you knew how thin this metal was, you wouldn’t want to put jackstands there either!

R33/34 strut top rust tip:

If you’re in the market for a 33 or 34 and worried about strut top rust, take a look at this.

If it’s not clearly visible that they are rusted, check for any “swelling” in the tops. As you can see this 60k kilometer r34 gtr appears clean initially, but this bit of swelling is hiding heavy scaling once sealer removed, they are on the way out.
