Get ready for one of the best events of the summer! Mark your calendars and get your teams together because the Annual Men’s Melon Classic is officially happening this August.

🎉 Exciting News for Rocky Ford Families! 🎉

We are thrilled to announce that we have partnered with Colorado State University Engagement and Extension to bring a fantastic new opportunity to our community!

Starting soon, we will be offering FREE Spanish classes for kids (K-6th Grade) right here at the Rocky Ford Public Library! 📚✨

🗓 When: First class begins Monday, July 6th
⏰ Time: 1:30 PM – 3:00 PM (and every Monday going forward!)
📍 Where: Rocky Ford Public Library

Learning a second language opens up a world of opportunities, and we are so excited to host these fun, interactive sessions. Spaces may be limited, so bring your kiddos out next Monday to kick off the fun!

The Lil Sluggers baseball team needs your help! We are currently looking for coaches for the upcoming season.

⚠️ Please Note: Practices cannot start until we have coaches locked in, so we need volunteers to step up to the plate!

UPDATED SCHEDULE: Our adult coed league kicks off this Friday at 6:00 PM! 🥎

The City is aware that the picnic tables at Library Park have been removed. After an inspection, our Parks crew determined that the tables had become a safety hazard and needed to be taken out to protect visitors.

We understand these tables were a valued feature of the park, and we appreciate the community’s patience while we address this issue. New, safer seating options have already been ordered, and we expect them to be installed soon.

In the meantime, we encourage everyone to continue enjoying the park, and we will provide updates as soon as the new benches are in place.
