We love supporting this event every year! All you youth hunters need to take your bucks OR does to Miller Glass this weekend and get entered for some really great prizes!

We donated a Leupold VX-Freedom scope just like we did last year. We can't wait to see who wins it!

2026 YOUTH HUNTERS!! WE ARE EXCITED TO SEE YOU THIS WEEKEND!!
A few reminders for our newcomers!!!
- No pre-registration is required. We will have paperwork for each hunter to fill out with general information when you check your deer in.
- Check in is at Miller Glass of Rolla located across from Applebee's on Bishop Ave
- Does NEED TO BE FIELD DRESSED before check in. We will not allow entry unless your does are field dressed. This is so we can get the most accurate weight.
- Only 1 deer per youth hunter for the entire weekend
- We have a STRICT CUT OFF on Monday .
- If you need to get a hold of us for questions or concerns, PLEASE MESSAGE US ON FACEBOOK!! We will constantly be posting each youth hunter throughout the weekend, so this is the easiest way to get a hold of us.
-If our parking lot is full, please feel free to use the gravel lot, down below our shop until more spots open up!

THANK YOU TO ALL OF OUR AMAZING SPONSORS! WE COULD NOT DO THIS WITHOUT YOU!

🇺🇸 It’s been a long HOT week. We decided to close a little early today so our crew could enjoy some a/c and cool off before the Fourth of July!

We appreciate your understanding and your continued support of our small business. We hope everyone has a safe, fun, and happy Independence Day.

Happy 4th of July from all of us at John’s Firestone! 🇺🇸

Family Story Time… ❤️

This is Galloway Spurgeon, Greg’s grandpa (pictured on the Firestone catalog below).

Galloway began his career managing a Firestone store before opening Spurgeon’s 66 in St. James. Chances are you’ve stopped in for gas, had your vehicle serviced, or used their towing services at some point over the years.

Today marks a special milestone as Uncle John (Galloway’s son) and Aunt Janet officially passed the torch to their son and daughter-in-law, John and Tina Spurgeon. It’s wonderful to see another family business continuing the legacy that Galloway started.

We’re so happy for John and Tina as they begin this exciting new chapter. If you’re in the area, stop by, congratulate them, and wish them the best!

Galloway would be incredibly proud. His work ethic, values, and passion for serving the community continue to inspire his children, grandchildren, and the family businesses that carry on his legacy.
