TRAILER OF THE DAY - Today let's do some comparison shopping! take a look at both of these Cargo trailers that we have on our lot. Both are 7" w x 12'L but one is a single axle(SA) and the other a tandem axle(TA). What are the pros and cons? Well let's take a look at usage.
At 7x12 you are a very mobile unit, it is easier to in and out of subdivisions and working environments that may have tight turns or narrow alleys or driveway entrances. So whether you are using this size for a working unit or residential this length gives you easier moverability.
The difference comes into carry capacity. For the SA unit, CT-53250, the carry capacity is maxed out at 1288lbs, while the TA, CT-45567, has a carry capacity of *5078*!! So if you are in the market for a mobile work unit, this is going to be your ticket! It will be more easily maneuvered into worksites and can carry heavy loads of material or tools as needed.
If, however, you are needing an enclosed trailer to store a few things, help move a friend, or take your wares to the Farmer's Market, than the SA is the unit for you!
