Dragon Recovery

Fall is here — and so are earlier drives home in the dark.

Before the weekend, give your vehicle a quick fall check:
• Headlights and brake lights
• Tire pressure
• Windshield wipers
• Phone charger in the vehicle
• Emergency contacts saved

And add one more:

Hopefully, it's a number you won't need.

But sitting on the side of the road after dark isn't the time you want to start searching for who to call.

Save it now.

Some days, one flat tire isn't just one flat tire.

It's missing practice.
Dinner getting pushed later.
Kids asking how long it's going to take.
And a mom standing beside the car trying to figure out what to do next.

That's something we remember at Dragon Recovery.
When you call us, we know there may be a whole lot more happening in your day than the vehicle problem you're calling about.

Our job is to help solve the problem, communicate with you and help get your day moving again.

So as fall schedules get busier, put one number in your phone before you need it:

And if your day suddenly takes a turn—

“The 60-Second Friday Check”

Before everybody heads into the weekend, here's your 60-second Dragon Check:

Walk around your vehicle.

Look at all four tires — anything noticeably low?

Check your fuel.

Make sure your phone has a charger in the vehicle.

Look at your dash — any warning lights you've been ignoring?

And finally…

Save 434-200-9891 in your phone.

You may not need us this weekend.

That's exactly how we hope it goes.

But if something changes, you'll already know who to call.

“When Service Matters Most”

A breakdown never seems to happen when you have nowhere to be.

It happens when you're taking the kids somewhere.

When you're already running late for work.

When you're trying to get home.

Or when your college student calls and you're miles away wondering how you're going to help.

That's why we've always believed towing is only part of our job.

When someone calls Dragon Recovery, they're often already having a bad day. They need someone to answer the phone, explain what's happening, give them an honest ETA and help get the problem handled.

The vehicle matters.

But so does the person standing beside it.

That's the standard we're continuing to build at Dragon Recovery — from the person answering your call to the operator who arrives to help.

When your day takes an unexpected turn:

“Before the weekend…”

Most people don't think about roadside assistance until they're sitting somewhere wishing they had.

So before you head into the weekend, take 30 seconds:

Check your tire pressure.
Look at your fuel level.
Make sure your phone is charged.
And save 434-200-9891 in your contacts.

Because sometimes being prepared isn't complicated.

It's simply knowing who you're going to call when the day doesn't go according to plan.

“Parents: put this number in their phone.”

Sending your son or daughter off to college comes with a strange combination of pride…and worrying about all the things you’re no longer there to handle.

And sooner or later, one of those calls may sound like:

“Mom, my car won’t start.”
“Dad, I have a flat.”
“I locked my keys in the car.”

If your student is living or going to school in the Lynchburg area, give them one number to put in their phone before they need it.

We're a local, women-owned company, and we know that when a parent is miles away, communication matters almost as much as getting the vehicle taken care of.

And remember: college students receive $5 off with valid ID.

Send this post to the college student in your family and have them save our number.
