When oil leaks are left ignored they can cause your drive belts to fly off (we’ve seen it a lot) and it can cause your hoses to pop off. The only oil leak that we consider safe to ignore for a reasonable amount of time is a lower oil pan leak.. that one doesn’t leave a path of destruction, and never ignore that low oil level warning light.
