Using my new powertrain lift to remove the entire rear suspension with differential. Much easier and safer than trying to balance it on a transmission jack or removing piece by piece. Or drop it on jack stands.

Ah yes. The terrible 3.5 L ford with internal water pump. This engine has been serviced regularly and I can tell by how clean it is. We usually replace all timing components when we do these water pumps. I'm still going to on this one but the wear on the guides and chains are minimal compared to some. I'll have this done in a day or two. Gotta get everything cleaned up and prepped for assembly. Comes with a 2 year 24k mile parts and labor warranty.

Yardley Automotive in Salem, IL is currently seeking a skilled and motivated automotive technician to join our team. If you have a passion for cars and a knack for problem-solving, we want to hear from you!

Benefits and Features:

Four day workweek. Monday - Thursday 7am to 5pm.

Hourly pay with bonus program for flat rate performance.

40 hours of pto after 90 days

Well lit shop with modern tools and equipment

Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections

Diagnose and repair complex automotive issues using advanced diagnostic tools and equipment (Lab scope, Scanner, Multimeter, Smoke machine, etc.)

Able to perform digital vehicle inspections

Properly use online service manuals and read schematics

Perform wheel alignments

Air conditioning and HVAC service

Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with advisors regarding repairs

Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Stay up-to-date on the latest automotive technology and industry trends

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of experience as an automotive technician

Certification from an accredited automotive training program

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
