Finalized assembly of our GM T5WC 5 speed using our heavy duty case & top along with our GM SS295 gear kit, output shaft and a few other upgrades. No silicone was hurt in this process as we didn't use any 😁. This was just a mock up to test components prior to production. Once these items come online, we hope it will expand customer options for 5 speed manuals in older model platforms with limited tunnel space.

Some pictures of the TKO 600 5 Speed gears in development being test fitted onto a factory output shaft. All tolerances are checked for proper fitment and set up with our carbon fiber lined synchronizer rings. Proper gap is measured and compared to factory rings. We attempted to use our longer roller needle bearings but had to reuse the shorter factory style in mock up.

We are in the midst of developing some Tremec TKO 600 series 5 speed parts for all those orphaned TKO600 in the wild left without any resources to repair them after being beaten like they owed someone money...... 😞

Any who, here's some pictures of the progress. We plan to release 2nd gear, 3rd gear, GM/Ford input shafts along with the cluster gear. These will be manufactured to the most stringent tolerances from a new proprietary alloy we have been working on and heat treated accordingly for the intended use of what most people use these transmissions for. We hope to meet & exceed the original parts to provide a reliable, obtainable and affordable option for our customers going forward. We will post more pictures here as progress happens.

Assembly of our GM SS295 shift top with our billet shift forks, billet shift finger, forged shift lug plates and S10 style shift rail. Our plates are specifically designed to work with our main case to improve rigidity and reduce flex under a load. This will improve precision shifting and reduce gear deflection.

A little more T5 goodness to cap off a Friday!

T5WC GM 3.35 Ratio 10 Spline x 1.125" Input Shaft - Part # T5-16G

T5WC Ford 3.35 Ratio 10 Spline (.590" tip diameter) Input Shaft - Part # T5-16FA

T5-16G will work with the very affordable and commonly available Ford V8 T5WC 3.35 Mustang gear set when used behind a GM inline or V6 6 and mild SBC. Great for guys making 300hp or less in non towing applications.

T5-16FA will also work with the Ford V8 3.35 Ratio gear set when used behind Turbo 2.3L. Great upgrade from the unobtainable 3.50 gear set and way better ratio than the 3.97 ratio in non turbo 2.3L units. This uses the V8 bearing and retainer instead of the "919" casting retainer.

Both are in stock and ready to see some action.

Now available: T5WC Output Shafts for F Body/S10 style applications. These shafts feature dual speedometer locations for either F Body or S10 extension housings. These are 27 Spline but require a 28 Spline Ford style upper 5th gear. In stock now on our website. Part # T5-2G
