🎃 Is your check engine light giving you a scare?

If your check engine light is on, your vehicle is running rough, or something just doesn’t feel right, a proper diagnosis can help identify the cause before any repair is recommended.

At Kwon’s Auto Repair, we inspect the problem, explain what we find, and help you understand the next step.

🛑 How much brake pad is left?

Brake pads wear down gradually, and they don’t always make noise before they need attention. During a brake inspection, we check the pad thickness, rotors, calipers, and overall braking condition so you know whether your brakes are still in good shape, may need service soon, or need attention now.

Not sure when your brakes were last checked? Call us to schedule an inspection.

🚗 Is your car taking longer than usual to start?

A slow crank, clicking sound, or intermittent starting problem can be related to the battery, cable connections, starter, or another part of the starting system.

At Kwon’s Auto Repair, we can test the system, identify the cause, and explain what we find before recommending the appropriate repair.

📞 Call (858) 587-9010 to schedule a battery and starting-system check.

Uneven tire wear? Your vehicle may need more than new tires. 🚗

Uneven tread wear can be related to wheel alignment, incorrect tire pressure, or worn steering and suspension components.

At Kwon’s Auto Repair, we can inspect the cause and perform a wheel alignment when needed to help your vehicle track properly and promote more even tire wear.

💧 Not every drip under your vehicle means the same thing.

A fluid leak may begin as only a few spots, but it can lead to low fluid levels and more extensive repairs if left unchecked. Fluid can also travel along nearby components, so the location of the spot does not always show where the leak began.

At Kwon’s Auto Repair, we can inspect your vehicle, trace the source of the leak, and explain what we find before recommending the appropriate repair.

Noticing a new spot where you park? Give us a call to schedule an inspection.

Summer heat can put extra stress on your vehicle's cooling system. ☀️🚗

Regular cooling system maintenance can help prevent overheating and keep your engine running at the proper temperature, especially during the hottest months of the year.

If you've noticed your temperature gauge running higher than normal or it's been a while since your cooling system was checked, we're here to help.

As Father's Day approaches, we're reminded of where it all began.

Kwon's Auto Repair was founded by my father in 1988. His dedication to honest work, fair treatment, and taking care of customers helped build the foundation of the business we continue today.

More than 38 years later, we're proud to carry on those same values and continue serving the San Diego community.

To all the fathers, grandfathers, and father figures in our community, we wish you a happy Father's Day weekend.

Thank you for supporting our family-owned business.
