I want to have lunch with some of the ford engineers that decided this was okay on the ford 3.0 engine.
D@mn thing has its own intake attached to it!

Regardless, this is a big job with more repairs to come. We are gonna be doing a lot to this vehicle, so stay tuned for future updates!( pictures included for future repairs)

This vehicle took a 3 hour drive to trade up for another vehicle the customer was looking for, AFTER tedious work and hours into the build.
The final result will have you stunned.

2012 ford ta**us 3.5 limited.

Customer complaints, engine noise, overheating issue.

Re-created customer complaint, checked oil, noticed a "milk shake" mixed up in the oil pan, as well as a terrible noise coming from engine while running.
Diagnosed as failed water pump, Timing included with repair.
These ford 3.5 engines are chain driven, INTERNAL water pumps are known to leak coolant into the oil pan after the water pump- to block- seals fail. Causing a milk shake in the oil pan.
The first sign is a coolant leak behind the alternator! If you have a ford with a 3.5 that has signs of coolant leak behind alternator, be ready to fix it right, the first time.
This was a $1600 job.
