Public Service Announcement: To the handful of people who think we’re an easy target… we’re not. 😄

Every now and then, someone pulls into Mango convinced they’ve found the world’s easiest insurance claim. Unfortunately for them, we also invested in something they didn’t account for: one of the most advanced surveillance systems money can buy. Dozens of high-definition cameras capture virtually every angle of every vehicle from the moment it enters until the moment it leaves.

Today’s episode was a classic.

A customer claimed our wash scratched her bumper and pointed directly to the damage. We reviewed the footage and… surprise! The video clearly showed the vehicle arriving with those exact scratches already on the bumper.

Faced with the video evidence, the story immediately changed from, “You caused these scratches,” to, “Well… I knew they were already there… but you made them worse.”

Nice try.

We work hard to treat every legitimate concern fairly and professionally, and when we make a mistake, we own it. But we will not pay fraudulent claims or reward people who try to take advantage of our business. That’s simply not happening.

To the overwhelming majority of our honest customers: thank you. We appreciate you more than you know.

To the scammers: you’ll have to wake up a whole lot earlier than that. Our cameras don’t blink, our footage doesn’t lie, and if you’re trying to pull a fast one, you’re probably just going to end up starring in your own failed audition.
