Every carnival has that ONE ride…

The one you can hear before you even see it.

The one with kids laughing so hard you can’t help but smile.

The one that has parents saying, “Just one more ride!”… five times. 😂

For us, that’s the Spider. 🕷️🎡

Year after year, it’s one of the biggest kid magnets on our midway. The excitement, the squeals, the smiles… it’s why we do what we do.

Watching families make memories together never gets old.

And the best part?

We’re bringing the Spider to the Montmorency County Fair next week! 🎉

Our crew has been working hard to get everything ready, and we can’t wait to see familiar faces and meet new ones. If you’ve never experienced the Spider, this is your chance to find out why it’s one of the favorites.

✨ I BET YOU CAN STILL REMEMBER YOUR FAVORITE FAIR RIDE AS A KID… ✨

Mine was always the Strawberry Ride. 🍓❤️

I can still remember climbing into that little strawberry as a child, gripping the wheel, laughing until my cheeks hurt, and feeling like I was on the greatest adventure in the world.

Back then, life was simple.

A summer night.
The smell of popcorn in the air.
The lights of the midway glowing against the dark sky.
And a ride that made you feel like the happiest kid on earth.

Now, all these years later, I get to watch a whole new generation experience that same magic.

Every time I see those little faces light up as the strawberries start to spin, I can’t help but smile.

Some of those kids won’t remember what toy they got this year.
They won’t remember what they had for dinner.

But years from now, they’ll remember riding the Strawberry Ride with their parents and grandparents, laughing until they couldn’t breathe.

That’s what makes this ride so special to me.

It’s not just a ride.

It’s a memory maker. ❤️🍓

And seeing kids enjoy it today is every bit as magical as it was when I was that little girl riding it myself.

There’s something magical about county fair week.

The smell of fresh fair food.

This week, Native Amusements is rolling into Marion County Fair, and we couldn’t be more excited!

We’ve been working hard getting everything ready, and we can’t wait to see those big smiles, hear the squeals of excitement, and watch families make memories together.

🎠 You know what I love most about our Merry-Go-Round?

It’s not the lights.

It’s not the music.

It’s not even the beautiful horses going up and down.

It’s the little girl holding onto the pole with the biggest smile you’ve ever seen.

It’s the proud grandpa standing off to the side taking pictures.

It’s the mom waving every single time her child comes around, even though they’ve already passed her ten times.

For a few minutes, the world slows down.

The phones go away.

The worries disappear.

And families make memories they’ll talk about long after the carnival leaves town.

That’s why we do this.

Not just to run rides… but to create moments that become childhood memories.

You can learn a lot from the smile on a kid’s face.

One of the best decisions we made this year was bringing home the Mind Winder. The kids absolutely love it, and hearing the laughter and seeing them run back for “just one more ride” makes all the hard work worth it.

Moments like these are exactly why we do what we do. 🎡❤️
