Knocked out a cool little Joel/Overkill bumper kit for our buddy Wes, this thing turned out pretty sweet. Sounds like the fish are rolling in up in the bay, we’ve been getting some good updates from the Full-Time fleet! For anyone in the market, we have a built spot available for next spring and have some pretty nice looking shop models ready to go, including our in-house design twin jet thru picker, sternpicker with or without flybridge, and we’re currently working up a few models for setnet skiffs as well. We’d love to take on another 32’ build this fall so keep us in mind. Hope everyone’s catching some good fish, having some fun, and making some good $!

NOW HIRING!

Full-Time Fab is looking to bring on another guy or two coming up. Ability to fab/weld is a huge plus, but any marine mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and/or systems knowledge and experience is all considered. Also willing to train the right person who has a desire to learn. We’re a small shop with a great team and all have our hands in every step of the build process along the way, so every day’s a little different. We offer good pay with full benefits and run a pretty low drama program. Shoot me a message if interested and we’ll set something up!

Just got a couple photos from Naknek of the tophouse we built last spring for the Bristol Tide. They got the thing flown up and installed with no major fit up issues which is all we can ask for on a job like this. Sounds like the fish are just starting to roll in, good luck to everyone up in the bay. We just launched the new website, and along with that we’re excited to announce a new service we’ll be offering which is design, consultation, and kit boats.

We’ve spent a ton of time this year refining our design process and working on expanding our inventory of in-house design stock models. These are digitally floated, ready to go, and can be changed / modified pretty easy to fit whatever platform you might be looking for. Aside from having these models ready to build on our end, we’ll also be offering to sell some of our in-house models as kit boats. They will come with a CAD cutfile and build book for anyone crafty enough to want to take on their own construction. And lastly, we have a CAD designer on standby if anyone wants to start fresh and design their own custom vessel. Whatever boat you may be in the market for, we have a good starting point ready to build off of.

The guys are rocking on the FTF in-house design 35’ sportfishing boat. We got all the bigger below deck components installed, decks are down, and most the outside hull work is getting close. Just have a few days of welding to do and we’ll start rolling on cabin stuff.

We’re pulling off this thing next week to hopefully put the finishing touches on the ross lake cat speedboat and get that thing seatrialed and delivered. Stay tuned for that one, she’s one hell of a boat!

Crazy what you can do with a jet boat and a bow thruster! Dug up this cool little drone vid of the Bridgette Joy and Casi Jo from a while back, two 32’ Bristol Bay sternpicker sister ships we built at the shop. It’s been a few years but we’re ready to take on another one of these bad units and we have a sternpicker and double ender design ready to rock and roll. Wrangled up some photos of a cool little open cab 24’ x 8 1/2’ dive boat from way back. We’ve gotten a few inquiries about a similar platform and are currently working on getting one modeled up, should be a cool boat to have in our arsenal of shop models. We’ll offer this thing in 24’, 26’, and 28’. She would be a perfect platform for a dive boat, puget sound day crabber, or general work boat. Knocked out a pretty tech little roof mount generator install for a govt. contracted research boat. This was actually a bit of a head scratcher in the engineering department but we got her squared away and she’s ready to roll.

Big projects are keeping us plenty busy but we always try to make time the smaller jobs too so don’t hesitate to reach out for any boat work you need done for the upcoming season and we’ll see what we can do to make it happen
