Five years ago, I made what a lot of people thought was a crazy decision. I quit my full-time job with no guarantee that detailing cars would work out. I didn’t have a perfect plan, a safety net, or all the answers. What I did have was a vision of the kind of life I wanted to build for my family.

The biggest reason I took that leap wasn’t money. It wasn’t cars. It was freedom.

At the time, Whitney and I had one child, and I knew I didn’t want to spend my life working third shift, sleeping through the day, and missing the moments that matter most. I wanted to be present. I wanted to attend the games, go on the field trips, and be there for the milestones that you never get back.

Fast forward five years, and now we have our 10-month-old son. Watching him take his first steps, hearing him say “Mama” and “Dada” for the first time, and simply being there in those moments has reminded me exactly why I took that risk.

Building a business hasn’t been easy. There have been sleepless nights, stress, sacrifices, and plenty of times I questioned myself. But standing in our living room watching our son take those first steps, I realized something: this is what success looks like to me.

Not the cars. Not the awards. Not the money.

The freedom to be present.

I’m incredibly grateful that Whitney and I have been able to build something together that allows us to experience these moments as a family instead of hearing about them after the fact. Five years ago, I bet on myself. Today, watching my family grow, I’d make that same decision a thousand times over. ❤️

Our customer had not one, but TWO bears break into their vehicle while visiting Gatlinburg. During the chaos, the bears bit into a can of bear spray, coating the entire interior in an oil-based chemical.

The result? Every time you opened the doors your eyes burned, your lungs burned, and even your skin started burning. It wasn’t just a bad odor—it was an active chemical contamination.

This wasn’t a job for an air freshener or a basic interior detail.

Because bear spray is oil-based, we needed a product that could safely break down those oils without damaging the vehicle’s interior. Our P&S Degreaser, diluted to a safe working ratio, was the key. Combined with a thorough decontamination process, we were able to remove the chemical residue, eliminate the burning sensation, and get this vehicle back to being safe and comfortable to drive.
