It was chilly for some of us headed to Thermopolis this past weekend- We could see the Buffalo side/HWY16 from Sheridan and decided to go via HWY14. The Buffalo side is approximately 9,665 in elevation- The route we went elevation 9033 feet.  The below article’s elevation at the top of Wyoming is 11,000.
