Aunt Betty’s Celebration of Life🪽 Last weekend we got to celebrate the FABULOUS life of Betty Cox, Gregg’s Great Aunt! Gregg spent summers at her lake home and it was her neighbor down the road, Jim who picked up a motor and put Gregg to work one day. This was the start of his learning and love for fixing engines! In 1976, Aunt Betty and her husband, Clayton started a shop that went to be in Garland and called A-1 United Transmission. It that was very successful and a true family business! Her shop had a huge influence on Gregg and he always knew he wanted to build a shop his own one day for Diesel repairs seeing what she built! Betty was truly one of a kind and it was wonderful to see all of the people who love her get to celebrate her memory! 💗
